New version of vim-youcompleteme is available in git repository[1]. I
was planning to update it after jessie become stable but looks like
there is no need for it.
Also ycmd became a seperate project now. You'll also need to build ycmd
and it's also available in git[1].

That would be nice indeed, I am willing to look into packaging
vim-youcompleteme with the new architecture but how should it be handled now
that ycmd can be run as a standalone server ? Should vim-youcompleteme be split
into two packages ? For example a package named youcompleteme providing ycmd
