after having done quite a number of tests, I can confirm that the exensions for
OpenOffice do not work with AOO when connecting from the internet over SSH, so
don't expect to find a patch in them.

I tried installing AOO and trying the extensions I cited with it (I solved
somehow the problem I cited in my previous comment), and I found out that:
1) maybe the problem is not related to the SSH tunnel, but rather to the
connection from outside the LAN, as opposed to inside it.
