Yes, that seems worth fixing as well; it really shouldn't be running

Yes, I noticed the messages (on my system, PK runs in debug mode, so
this was normal for me).
Thanks for spotting this and reporting the bug, I will upload a fix
for this issue on Sunday (I want to wait if there are some more issues
in PK with the 0.8.14 release which can be fixed)
