more then ten years have passed since your bug report and I believe the
issue you describe isn't present in dwm 6.5 anymore.
I've tried opening a video in my terminal emulator with mplayer, then
I've put it to fullscreen pressing F, finally I've switched monitor with
Mod1-, or Mod1-

I ran xrandr -q
for knowing my monitors.
So ok it works with
M$ cat two-monitors.sh
xrandr --auto --output DVI-D-1 --mode 1280x1024 --left-of VGA-1
I want to play with mplayer a movie and work on the
