Control: tags -1 unreproducible David, I know this was a very long time ago, for which apologies. But #677420/#724959 was mentioned in the discussion of #1008910 so I had a look. On Mon, Sep 30, 2013 at 10:48:24AM +1000, David Burgess wrote: > Package: initscripts > Version: 2.88dsf-43 > > /lib

Bug#724959: mount of rootfs fails

2013-09-29 Thread David Burgess
Package: initscripts Version: 2.88dsf-43 /lib/init/mount-functions.sh does not handle quoted LABEL= or UUID= names in fstab. mount -a (and findfs) works with quoted names in fstab. Debian no longer supports the /dev/root symlink which forces users to use an fstab with either LABEL= or UUID=.
