Steam is taking 100% of the CPU and doesn’t start.
control: severity -1 important
The latest update went fine for me.
You may want to try moving or removing the files in ~/.steam/packages
to force them to be re-downloaded.
You may also try to do the same for the files in ~/.steam/linux32 and
~/.steam/ubuntu12_32.
