reopen 712861 thanks gnome-shell 3.4.2-9 hasn't shown up in the archive yet AFAICT, so I manually applied Emilio's proposed patch to bluetooth.js. This did not help; I get exactly the same startup crash except that the error message now says "GnomeBluetoothApplet.BluetoothKillswitchState is undef
