and opens fine the new r00t terminal.
the second time gives:
$ unset DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS
$ gksu gnome

i can launch one time gksu gnome-terminal
The second time i try i've got this message :

Something that might shed light on this bug:
>From a normal terminal (or from ALT+F2) do:
gksu xterm &
It starts up xterm without any issues.
Then from the xterm window do
gnome-terminal &
The following error message comes up:

same issue for me: gksu gnome-terminal only works once
If you try

# gksu gnome-terminal
does it run correctly?
no, it doesn't:
