Well this is what happen when juggling with too many distros. I might
have tested with a .deb package built on Ubuntu instead of my normal
Debian/Sid build VM.
After rebuilding the package on Sid, the makedumpfile command works as
expected. You can mark this bug as invalid.

The issue doesn't come *directly* from makedumpfile but seems to be a
regression with libelf1 which it uses.
Testing with Wheezy's version of libelf1 (0.152-1+wheezy1) does work.
And since makedumpfile 1.5.0.1 was tested and released just before the
latest libelf1, it did pass the test for the pre
