The issue doesn't come *directly* from makedumpfile but seems to be a regression with libelf1 which it uses. Testing with Wheezy's version of libelf1 (0.152-1+wheezy1) does work. And since makedumpfile 1.5.0.1 was tested and released just before the latest libelf1, it did pass the test for the pre
