Hi Jason,
I'm not sure I follow. So we have four configurations now:
Default optimizations, hardening: crash
Default optimizations, no hardening: crash
No optimizations, hardening: crash
No optimizations, no hardening: no crash
Is this what the situation is, or am I misunderstanding something?
Well, what do you know? I get no crash when compiling with -O0.
I had time for one more test, where I tried commenting out the
export DEB_BUILD_MAINT_OPTIONS = hardening=+all
But that crashed too.
Attached are the gdb logs from these two builds.
I'm leaving for a few days. I'd be happ

the problem is this ridiculously large value for the last vertex, and
the question is where it comes from. Unfortunately from the stacktrace I
cannot tell where it comes from. If you have tim

I've pasted a backtrace below (plus a little poking around in the
frames.)
Please let me know if there's further debugging I can do. I'm

Hello,
Same issue here. Here's the stacktrace I got (using an nvidia card

if you can so clearly reproduce this, would you mind doing the following?
Please install openclonk-dbg and gdb. Invoke openclonk with gdb:
$ gdb /usr/games/openclonk
... some output ..
Package: openclonk
Version: 5.3.1-1
