A crude but working amd64 package (built with checkinstall) can be
found at https://nodiscc.gitlab.io/toolbox/ along with build
instructions/script
Note that there's a proper deb package build for ubuntu at
http://ppa.launchpad.net/lasall/pidgin-opensteamworks/ubuntu/pool/main/p/pidgin-opensteamworks/
that may provide an useful starting point.
