I have just successfully built adb on armhf by manually editing the
control file. I can't test to see whether it works because this is on an
Android chroot, so not all the device nodes exist and it won't run, but
there weren't any problems with the build.

it would be nice if you could enable compilation of adb package on more
architectures than
i386 and amd64. I would most appreciate armel and armhf.
Personally I tried to build your package in sid running on Odroid-X ARM board
and it works
fine
