Dear Maintainer,
On a recent installation of Debian 7.0 qtiplot started up successfully
the first time. After closing the programn it refused to start again,
giving the reported error (just minutes after closing it).

I've been unable to reproduce the crash on i386. It seems we have the same
python-sip version. I can also get older versions of qtiplot plot to work with
the old python-sip as well.
Have you tried this on a non-AMD64 machine? Perhap
