Hi,
i can confirm Simon's bug report. I'm also using Debian Testing on AMD64
and i get the same error message that the file or directory can't be
found. I've tried the following without success.
1. I created the directory "Videos" in $HOME which is the default
location for saving screencasts.
Package: gnome-shell
Version: 3.4.1-8
Severity: normal
Screencast recording worked fine in gnome-shell 3.0 and/or 3.2.
Now in 3.4 when I hit crtl+alt+shift+r nothing happens. No file is
created and there is no visual feedback.
The only related error messages I could find are in .xsession-errors:
