as a new version is out (0.8), i've updated and pushed the package as
with 0.7.1.
as far as i can tell, things work fine. what still needs action is the
NEWS.Debian file; i don't know how exotic setups may be to be still
"supported" by the debian news file. (the acl / authentication
tags 676660 + patch

upstream tarball using git-import-orig --uscan (creating tag and
pristine-tar commit), acknowledged new version in changelog, updated
