Installed version 5.2.40 rev 8790 now, seems to work fine...
this is from sid, i'm being careful using sid (unstable)..
Mysql-admin 5.0r14+openSUSE-2.1 has a problem with user-accounts, hope
this can be fixed...

does the error has to do with read/write
