Agreed completely. I expected this to work much like dh_link but
recursively for trees in the source, rather than other files outside.
So I'm just doing ln -s thing/* otherthing for now as an override, but not
as pretty.
But useful for the other case too, just not what I expected from the
manpage.

It would be nice if one were able to use dh_linktree to link paths
within a source package and not only to external installed packages.
Kind of what dh_python2 does for python packages (symlinks the
usr/shared/pyshared/ tree into
/usr/lib/python
