Qt Curve also exists for GTK3, but it is not available in Debian
repository.
But Qt Curve for GTK2 (from Debian repo) works well, so I guess this
bug report have nothing to do on Debian BTS.

fonts and themes" does not change anything, even after restarting
evince), so I cannot tell if it comes from this theme.
