hi, I can't reproduce the problem here. Can you please upgrade to version 44-5 and see if you still encounter the problem. If so, we will help to further debug this issue. fwiw, this doesn't sound like a wicd specific problem but rather something related to dhcp and ifupdown hooks issueing reload
