I can reproduce this on my system by starting fgrun as below:
LANG=de_CH.UTF-8 LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 fgrun
However while trying to reproduce this, I discovered a possible work
around, if I start fgrun as below:
LANG=de_CH LC_CTYPE=d
Package: fgrun
Version: 1.6.0-1~bpo60+1
Severity: normal

If you use fgrun in a German locale, all umlauts are broken, e.g.
"veröffentlicht" is displayed as "veröffentlicht". This looks so ugly
and wrong that this issue prevents me from installing f
