This problem is a result of the upgrade not picking up all the
preferences settings from the previous version. Edit
Preferences->MailAccounts->ReceivingOptions and uncheck the box under
Folders the says "Show only subscribed folders". THis makes all the
folders on the remote server appear. I don't

I can access mail on the IMAP server on my local subnet.
I cannot access mail at a remote IMAP server.
I performed a full dist-upgrade on my box last week. Evolution was
working fine
I am able to send email from Evolution using my remote IMAP email
account, and the sent email is stored in the "Sent Items" folder on the
remote server. I determined this by viewing the folders on the remote
server via a Web interface, which also confirms that the remote server
is working.
