The problem (xserver crash) can be reproduced by enable/disabling
deinterlace, while playing some video, using Xv driver by
Kaffeine/xine.

As I said several times it is known @ upstream and already fixed in a
beta release. The fix may be in 12-2 or 12-3, can't remember currently.

I've confirmed this bug after upgraded to fglrx 12-1 (8.93.4). I even tried to

This bug is so annoying.
I'm using Debian GNU/Linux 3.1.0-1-amd64, xserver-xorg 1:7.6+10, and

With packages installed from the repository using the wheezy branch, I can
reproduce the same problem.
But I found that I can avoid this bug by using a older version of xserver

After downgrading the xserver to that in squeeze, I can play video with xV

Hi,
I have the same issue, though I used libdrm-radeon1 from the testing

In #651316 they state that the fault is not present with this version.

What can one do to help fixing the issue? Has AMD already been notified?

Hi Guys, why you've added fglrx-driver 11-11-3 to Debian Testing repository

Does it work properly, I saw it has a big outstanding bug with video and
