Hi,
had the same issue with crashing X.
Put your file to /usr/lib/xorg/modules/libwfb.so and now it works.
xserver-xorg-core 1.11.0
nvidia-glx 280.13.really.275.28-1
but the file libwfb.so was not available before. So perhaps during some upgrade
the file was removed.
