I do agree :) Written ten years ago ; if I had some spare time I'd
probable rewrite many parts of it, including the module handling.

(The recommends: line is because the library is loaded at runtime, if
found. This allows to run without openssl actually installed, for
example to avoid cryptographic restrictions in some wei

httrack-dev has hardcoded Recommends on libssl0.9.8. Leaving aside the
fact that such relationships on shared library packages are wrong most
of the time, that package is going away.
