Dear Maintainer,
Even in my system, the menu is almost empty and I see only wine programs.
However, my panel is in the default position.
In my .xsession-errors, I see the following warning:

I can confirm this bug. Menu plugin for lxpanel located top of screen.

Same problem here after updating lxpanel from 0.5.6-1 to 0.5.8-1

Empty menu of programs is for me when the panel is in the upper position of the
screen.
