FYI: I assume it's the same issue, just for the 32bit version.
For me the /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/dri/r300_dri.so was missing. I also
quickfixed that with a symlink.

That would be messing with what's shipped by packages. That could leave
leftovers which might get in the way later on. I'd rather advise doing
