I think this is the same bug as #623046. The latest version of
liborc-0.4-0 from unstable (0.4.13-1) fixed it for me.

I withdraw my earlier statement. I see the same corruption on totem
2.30.2-6 as I do under totem 3.0.0-1. I first saw it when I upgraded to
3.0.0-1 which led me to believe (incorrectly) that it was specific to
totem 3.

I am seeing the same results with totem, but I only see it on version
3.0.0, not 2.*. It also affects the totem browser plugin. I've tried
using gst-launch-0.10 to play the videos and that seems to work fine, so
I'm inclined to say it's not gstreamer, but my testing wasn't
particularly thorough.
