thanks for your feedback. I am now able to reproduce the crash using
gnucash 1:2.4.6-3, LANG set to de_DE@euro and with locales for
de_DE@euro generated.

Hello Micha,
my system is pure Debian-Testing and I want to keep it that way, so I
will not install GnuCash from unstable now.
As soon as Gnucash 1:2.4.6 (or newer) enters into testing, I will redo
the tests and report the results to you.

I found a workaround for this problem.
My system normally runs in the en_US environment because I like all the
original English replies from the commands.
LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=en_US:en
Because I live in the Netherlands and want to use the locale currency
and date format
