I have the same setup as you. My iceweasel works nicely with the Java
plugin. You can enable the Java console and some debugging

When start iceweasel, it loads the open tabs and after few minuts iceweasel
crash.
I've tried to start iceweasel with -safe-mode option and then disable
add-ons and plugin. Only with java plug-in disable iceweasel works fine.
