A second point...
The "hints" field is used incorrectly to provide a description of
xmgrace. The "hints" field is really an optional list of keywords for
the menu system to use when grouping icons. The field should either be
used correctly or removed.

The grace.menu file currently sets the menu option for Xmgrace to
appear in the Science/Mathematics section. I think the Data Analysis
section would be more appropriate because Grace is a data analysis and
plotting application, not a mathematics application. Plea
