Ok, did that. perhaps a comment should be put in the config file
next to the user/system changing vars, mentioning that it is required to
also change other values when changing those vars.

I run lighttpd as a regular user, instead of the www-data user. This is
primarily due to the concern in bug #573320, and since it this is one user
machine, I'd rather have them run
as themselves than letting them ftp, etc. as www-data.
