I did an apt-get upgrade this morning, but it didn't pull in openoffice.org-gtk so the version of libvclplug_gtkli.so didn;t match the rest of open-office. After an explicit apt-get install openoffice.org-gtk openoffice has started to work again. -- Dr Peter Chubb
