I've done the following steps to rebuild gnome-dvb-daemon:
apt-get source gnome-dvb-daemon (as root)
apt-get build-dep gnome-dvb-daemon (as root)
chown -R bernhard.bernhard ./gnome-dvb-daemon* (as root)
cd gnome-dvb-daemon-0.1.19
DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nostrip fakeroot dpkg-buildpackage
dpkg -i ..
