Debian would need to package the samsung-backlight kernel driver, which
was developed more than one year ago originally, but because of some
strange issues (NDA?) cannot be continued by the original author.

Hello,
I have a Samsung N210. I don't have anything under /sys/class/backlight and
pressing Fn+BrightUp or Fn+BrightDown does nothing. ACPI BRTUP and BRTDN events
are correctly sent.
Workaround:
Get: setpci -s 00:02.0 f4.b
Set: setpci -s
