Thank you for submitting this ticket and helping to make Debian/CouchDB better.
I did some quick research and checked with the upstream CouchDB team, and there
is still sensitive information being stored in the config files that should not
be world readable. Specifically the serve
Package: couchdb
Version: 0.11.0-2
Severity: normal
Permissions on /etc/couchdb/ and inner files, are 770. There should be 775 on
/etc/couchdb/ and inner folders, and 774 on inner files, in order to let
applications to read the config files for startup.
