I hit this bug on Icedove 17.0.2, from experimental (Debian testing system). As a workaround, you need to add a line similar to this : user_pref("mail.server.serverX.check_new_mail", true); Replace "serverX" with the proper identifier for the movemail account. After this, Icedove checked the ac
