Hi Arthur,
When upgrading from 1.2.6 to 1.4.x you need to manually change the htmldir to
a new location (the upgrade suggests this in case you diff to the new
suggested configuration).
In any case, the htmldir parameter in /etc/munin/munin.conf should be:
/var/cache/munin/www. The 1.4.x package a

from your commands I get a perfectly "normal" log, no errors. I get the usual
pair of processing & creating
page. Then at the end it creates the comparaison pages, the service pages, the
group pages etc. It's just
that in those pages there are no links to the other pages.

I haven't seen this behavior before, but I can offer some places to look:
/var/log/munin/munin-html.log by default logs very little. Try running it with
debug on. For example:

su - munin -s /bin/bash
/usr/share/munin/munin-html --debug
