I have prepared a patch against the latest version to resolve this bug,

I have re-built the package, confirmed that it solves the problem, and

This worked fine in Debian squeeze, but I have now confirmed that the
bug exists in Debian wheezy as well.

../configure --enable-gtk-doc --enable-gtk-dpc-pdf
gtk-doc do not produce the pdf documentation.
but during the build I have this:
