Bug#569539: beep in xterm doesn't work

Package: xterm Version: 256-1 Severity: normal Although version 256-1 brings back the beep, it's not possible to switch the bell off: "xset b off", "xset -b" and "xset b 0" have no effect in a xterm, pterm and Iceweasel. Tried "xset b on" also to no avail, just in case someone mixed up on and off.
