I just found the explanation why there is a new default layout.
I actually don't care which layout is default, but having an obvious
entry in rc.lua would have saved me _much_ time. Please implement
Alexandros Frantzis suggestion as it would help people to identify the
issue as a feature except a
The default rc.lua actually never sets a layout for the tags. This
results in the floating layout to be used.
The best thing would be to set the layout to the first layout defined in
the layouts array. This is the way it was done before and seems to be
the most user friendly way to manage this. I
