I am the package maintainer of both gtk+extra and gpsim in Fedora and this problem looks like a problem I see in Fedora 12 caused by an incompatibility between gtk+extra and gtk+ 2.18. As such I have created debian bug report 561769 against package libgtkextra-1.0-0. Regards, Roy Rankin
