I can confirm this problem.
My station is installed with RAID5 on 3 discs.
To my big surprise, I could not boot after the upgrade. Each 2 or 3
attemps to boot, the system boots but stop on an unrecoverable error on
fsck.
Could you revert to the older mdadm until you tackle the problem.

Udev 146-3 stop copying rule /lib/udev/rules.d/64-md-raid.rules
to boot initramfs. Mdadm hook script should copy it itself.

Harald, are you sure the problem you have here is due
to mdadm change and not your new kernel change or even
fstab change?
The thing is that the NMU in question did not change any
stuff in mdadm related to booting. The issue you have
is that after the array gets assembled, it isn't handled
by ud
