Hello Michael,
I just tried what you suggested with devicekit-power version 12-1 from
Debian repository but device kit is still unable to detect that I'm
unplugging/replugging powercable. Nothing is shown when I run
"devicekit-power --monitor-detail".

Hello Michael,
please see attached log.
Sorry I missed your request for sysfs file. But I do not have such file:
# ls -la /sys/class/power_supply/*/online
ls: cannot access /sys/class/power_supply/*/online: No such file or
directory
# cat /sys/class/power_supply/*/online
cat: /sys/class/powe
Hello Michael,
yes, sorry it is a typo. But of course I tried running devkit-power
--monitor-detail not devicekit...

Package: devicekit-power
Version: 009-1
Severity: important
Hello,
I have noticed, that devicekit-power does not detect that I am unplugging or
pluging again AC power cable in my notebook (iBook G4). I expect this is
why new version of gnome-power-manager is not working for me correctly.
