There is a big downside to upgrading to the unstable version of the
Gnome Settings
Daemon. When I upgraded it moved me up to 'xorg-xserver 7.4' and removed
many
of the 'xserver-xorg-input-' driver packages as well as doing something
grave to 'OpenGL'. I'd been using the Nvidia drivers from Nvi
Thanks -- upgrading gnome-settings-daemon to 2.26 from unstable solved the
problem.
