Using eog version 2.26.2-1 in amd64.
After a couple of pictures, I've got a segmentation fault.

Kernel: Linux 2.6.
Looking a bit deeper, it seems this bug has already been resolved by
eog developper. Here the gnome bug report:

This bug has been resolved in eog 2.26.3 . This version is available
since 1st july.

I maybe posted the bug too fast. It seems more related to the libexif
package. I don't know how to migrate the bug.
Reading the exif informations with exiv2 gives me the the following
error for each Canon pictures:
Error: Directory Canon: Next pointer is out of bounds; ignored.
Once I delete the

Severity: important
eog crashes with some image collections (not all). The segmentation fault
happens only when I am watching the images one after the other, with the (the
forward arrow). It nevers happens on the first image.
e.g.
$ eog img_12.jpg
will never cr
