Package: gnome-screensaver Version: 2.26.1-1 Severity: normal I have this problem too. It activates if I do it manually with gnome-screensaver-command --activate but never activates automatically when the computer is idle. I have to do "xset dpms ..." to get any kind of screen blanking at all
