tags 537769 wontfix thanks Hi Considering it is a release goal to get .la files removed (where possibly) and this bug conflicts with #586313 I have decided to mark this as wontfix. I will probably close this bug in 14 days (or more) if there have been no decent arguments for keeping this open.
