Hello,
just adding my voice to the chatter. Same problem - using 2.6.30-1-amd64 and
cryptsetup 2:1.0.7~rc-1. As a workaround, I booted off a rescue-cd, mounted
/boot, and moved aside the current initramfs and put the backup initramfs in
place. Such are the perils of unstable.

Hi,
same thing here. Cryptsetup trying to use my swap device as root
filesystem and failing there, rendering the system unbootable.
I'll try to proposed fix now, removing the line mentioned in the bug
report.
