The described bug seems to be an issue of the MIT kerberos behaviour. The
adviced workaround does not work.
Setting "allow_weak_crypto=true" in /etc/krb5.conf:libdefaults, will help to
join the Windows 2003 AD, but wont work correct.

Hi all,
adding "allow_weak_crypto=true" to /etc/krb5.conf:libdefaults has the same
effect as already described by Holger Isenberg.
The 'net ads join' is sucessfull. A check in the 2003-AD shows the correct
computer account.
The 'net ads testjoin' failes with
~# net ads testjoin

net ads join works, but wbinfo does not (even wbinfo -p), so users

with samba on Lenny. I downgraded samba, heimdal and winbind and it
also works instantly.

I've removed the system completely from AD and tried to join again,
kinit works fin
