Hi, I've tried to reproduce your bug but I'm unable to do so. My environment is [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I tried to reproduce it with the commands you entered. Output looks good, so everything is alright. I guess that this is probably not a problem with coreutils. Does it happen in an X-Terminal or
